Year 3 Exhibition and Performance
On Wednesday 29th March, Year Three welcomed parents (and siblings) to see and hear highlights of the year so far. We have packed so much into the last two terms, including learning about the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age, about the UK and hillforts, and Ancient Egypt. Our presentation began with a singing performance led by George, and then selected children read poems and stories and extracts from their topic work. Children also demonstrated their times tables knowledge. Parents were able to look at displays of work around the hall and children were able to discuss their learning with all of our visitors.
World Book Day 2023
On this World Book Day, I want to encourage you all to celebrate the joy of reading and the power of books. Books have the amazing ability to transport us to different worlds, teach us new things, and inspire us in countless ways.
Whether you prefer novels, non-fiction, poetry, or graphic novels, there is a book out there for everyone. So take some time today to pick up a book and lose yourself in its pages. And remember, the more you read, the more you know and the more you grow.
Check out the highlights of our celebration at @BenJonsonSchool Youtube channel where we shared our love for reading. Watch the video now and be inspired to pick up your favorite book!
Happy World Book Day!
