Sports Day 2022

This year our KS2 Sports Day was held at Mile End Stadium. Years 3 & 4 in the morning and Years 5 & 6 in the afternoon whilst classes were split into their houses: 

Red – Indian Ocean / Blue – Pacific Ocean / Green – Antarctic Ocean / Yellow – Atlantic Ocean 

Children had fun competing against each other in track events like the egg and spoon and relay race and field events including long jump and javelin. It was great to see the positive encouragement from the children coupled with the support from parents! Much fun was had by all. Thanks – Aaron

KS1 Sports Day was at Ben Jonson School.

This year our Reception and KS1 pupils braved the elements to take part in Sports Day which was held at school. Despite the wet morning, our young pupils participated in track and field events including javelin, long jump and egg and spoon race whilst representing their houses. We were particularly impressed with the attitude and words of encouragement children gave each other when competing – well done!

Also, a huge thank you to all parents that came in the afternoon to cheer on and support the children. Great fun was had by all.
